Won’t need health insurance if there’s universal healthcare?

Many people think that if they vote for a candidate who will push universal health care forward, they won’t have to pay for it–the government will pay for it.  These people are obviously in need of health care–mental health care.  Health care is just like any program that the politicians in government say they will take care of so that hardworking middle-class Americans won’t be burdened by it.  Baloney!  Government gets their funds from the taxpayers–most of which are those same hardworking middle-class Americans who the politicians make their ‘Uncle Sam will take care of you’ claims.

Granted, the rich do put in a lot more of a percentage per person, but most of the $2,500,000,000,000 that the government takes from us is from the middle class.

Now that it’s clear that some magical fairy doesn’t pay for government programs (WE DO), let me make it clear that it won’t be more cost effective.  Nothing is more cost effective through government.  Do you need two supervisors constantly looking over you to see if you do you job properly, every second?  No?  Well, government-contracted construction workers do– I’m sure you’ve seen the pathetic dopes on the side of the road–two or three of them looking at one guy jack-hammering the sidewalk.  Talk to a friend in the military and find out how much they spend on staplers or tires.  I bet your office pays less.  A friend of mine works for CalTrans and laughs when he talks about the waste that goes on in his office, and we’re paying for that (and a nice pension for the tax-wasters after they retire at 50 years of age!).

Government doesn’t not make things cheaper.  It may seem that way because we don’t have to pay the full amount up front (it comes out in the sneaky income tax before we can even claim it as ours). But I promise you that if you gave me THREE TRILLION DOLLARS, I could do everything that the federal government does and reduce the deficit within 5 years.

fatstar.jpgWhat? we can’t feed the starving, blow up some tanks in Iraq, and pay the old farts for that much money– nonsense.  Our current government can’t do it because they’re more bloated than Star Jones before the makeover.

And if you don’t think we’ll need health insurance when government’s taking billions of our dollars to fund their silly little universal program, just ask Richard Branson why he’s opening up a private Health Care system in the universal healthcare mecca of the UK.

  1. I think hardworking middle-class Americans consider that universal health care system is better than classic health care insurance. Candidates for US president use this issue to request voters. I think is not right. Universal health care system is not defensible in long term period. For most significant advantage of universal health care system I consider that it is for free. This fact is important for most of Americans.

    Nice info, added to favourites.

  3. Did you see the Bunk study stating 2/3 of doctors in America want National Health Care. The doctors who did this study also conducted one in 2002 and found that the majority of doctors did not want national health care, the problem with this is that the 2 question surveys drastically differ in there 2nd question. I found this article, 60% of Physicians Surveyed Oppose Switching to a National Health Care Plan, It’s worth a read.

  4. Whining and bitching about things that piss you off is all you ever. I hate to say this but suck it up and take it like a man.
