Nobel has lost all credibility

What the fuck? oBBama wins the Nobel Peace Prize? For what? To encourage nuclear disarmament? Since when has the prize been given away to encourage someone to do something. This is the most laughable thing I’ve ever seen. Is the Nobel committee really that starved of candidates that they have to resort to giving it to a second-rate president that has DONE NOTHING but increase the national debt by 2 trillion dollars?!? I can’t wrap my head around it. We’re still in Iraq and Afghanistan. We’re still in Cuba. We still have nukes aimed at ever hole on earth with people breathing in it.

Lame, bizarre, sick even.

Change? My ASS!

This image pretty much sums up what I’m sure a lot of Obama voters are feeling. They voted for change and what they got (no surprise here) was just more of the same old bullshit. Here’s my dedication to that triumph of status quo:

Hypothesis: oBBama will use H1N1 to force socialize health care

oBBama’s chief of staff has been quoted as recommending to always take advantage of a crisis. Why? Because only when there’s a crisis can government force people to take their shit. Only when people are worried about their security can government gain more ground in regulation and taxes. This was true in the Great Depression which begat the socialized New Deal programs. It is always true in war during which people turn a blind eye to internment camps, it was true after 9/11 when everyone in the country was worried about terrorists, and it was true during the economic crisis of 2008-09. In each case, there was a crisis in confidence and the government took advantage of it but increasing their control over society “for our own good.”

I have an eerie feeling about some things that I’ve been seeing recently that have to do with this crisis=government growth philosophy.

First, oBBama has received considerable flack for his shitty health care reform plan. Half the country is vehemently opposed to it and a few people like it (the others are getting paid to like it).

Second, we’ve been hearing rumors about H1N1 getting worse and that “they” are expecting a really bad pandemic.

Third, military personnel have been forced to take the flu vaccine, which indicates drastic measure in preparation for the predicted outbreak.

So, what does that mean? Nothing yet, but if there is a major outbreak of H1N1, I will look for oBBama to angle it in such a way (either by restricting vaccinations or monopolizing them through the government) that will make socialize medicine look like a good idea. I can imagine his goons monopolizing the vaccine and using it as leverage to force people into a recommended national health program.

What happens if the liberal fascists get control of the health care system is beyond the scope of this post, but I will guarantee it won’t be pretty.

I hope nothing disastrous happens, but I wouldn’t put it past the oBBama administration to use such a crisis to increase their socialized ways.

ACORN and the sick twisted reality of big government

Two young upstarts go into government-funded organizations with an idea to start a business trafficking underage illegal aliens as prostitutes and ACORN employees want to help them?!?! Are you fucking kidding me?!

This is the company that helped oBBama push his change agenda and got him elected and now its working to fund God knows what WITH MY TAX DOLLARS!! FUck you ACORN and FUCK YOU big government!

Joe the Heckler

A lot of people are outraged by the “Joe the Heckler” outburst at Wednesday’s Joint Session sit down oBBama had. The president’s goal was to dispell all the lies about the health care bill drifting around out there. But what has gotten the most attention is Representative Joe Wilson’s dispelling of the president. When oBBama mentioned that the Dem’s health care bill would not cover illegal imigrants, Wilson yelled, “You Lie!”

Some say that the outburst was uncalled for, some say it was embarrassing, and others want Joe Wilson’s head.

But all the hubub is a joke. Why can others clap and he can’t heckle? Why can the president receive only positive reinforcement? Why the double standard about being vocal in the Joint session?

I’m all for the heckler. Heckle everyone. Of course, you need to let oBBama present his lies before you call him a liar, but Wilson did that. oBBama spoke for most of the presentation. He was aloud to present his lies quite thoroughly before Wilson heckled.

Hopefully this is a trend and more congressmen will become vocal critics during nationally televised propaganda. Then, maybe the US congress will morph into something much more substantive and entertaining, like the British Parliament:

Townhall Meeting Videos

I’ve been getting a kick out of townhall meeting videos the past few days. The Congressmen are back in Washington, but these gems, which dipict everyday people getting in the fat faces of the stuffy politicians will live forever.

First up: chick calls oBBama a Nazi and Frank a supporter:

There are two major fallacies in Frank’s response:

#1, Avoiding the question. He doesn’t answer her question. If he was unclear about the link between Hitler and oBBama, then, why not ask instead of avoiding the question? He did ask a  question to address the questioner, but it led to the second logical fallacy:

#2, Ad hominem. Instead of answering the question, Frank criticizes the questioner, implying that she was an alien and likening a conversation to her with coffee table. Well, Mr. Frank, a conversation with you is worse, it’s like having a conversation with an ILLOGICAL person. I’d much rather have a conversation with a coffee table!

Second up: Baron Hill forgets who he’s working for

This is just hilarious. Hill is worried about being put into a compromising position so he doesn’t allow video of “his” townhall meeting. The thing is, it seems like it would be very difficult to not see this arrogant jackass in a compromising position. Irony, I love it.

This one is long, but interesting. Tsongas endures a pretty rowdy crowd of antagnists as she spouts her lies about healthcare “reform”:

You have to give her credit for holding her own, but this video clearly shows that there are a very vocal majority of people who are sick of this government sick care plan.
