Dan In Real Life is a great movie—It’s funny, poignant, and has a great plot. It also depicts the classic reasons of WHY BABY BOOMERS SUCK. The Dan character is a single Baby Boomer father who loves his kids so much that he won’t let them have any freedom (like drive a car) and won’t let them have any responsibility (he makes their lunches). Of course, the kids hate their dad and he makes it worse when he goes off and does exactly what he’s been telling his kids not to do. Classic hypocritical Boomer.
This is a great flick, though- something every generation can enjoy
